Brett Dennen’s latest EP, Here’s Looking At You Kid, which I co-wrote and produced, is now available everywhere.
This is the second EP Brett and I have collaborated on over the last year, and I’m extremely proud of the great music we’ve made together.

For the last bunch of years, I’ve been doing this series of songwriting and collaboration advice tidbits, first on Vine, and now on Instagram. Check them out here, or search #wordsandmusicinsixseconds on Instagram anytime you like.
I’ve been spending a ton of time with Brett Dennen this last year, and I had the joy of producing his EP – it’s out today everywhere you find music. I co-wrote the tunes “Jenny and Jill,” “Good Vibration,” “Home Away From Home,” and the title track “Let’s…”.
I’m really proud of this project, and…
Friends – back in 2002, I released a song called “What a Year For a New Year” on a compilation benefit CD that has since been discontinued. Now, because so many of you have asked about it, I’m re-releasing that same recording. I drew some new artwork to go with it too – a sunrise, a fresh start, a new day on the darkest day of the year. I hope you dig it too. You can listen to it now anywhere you find your music online (iTunes, Spotify, etc).
Very best wishes to you and yours in the New Year! Here’s hoping for a great 2018, and here’s to us doing everything we can to make it great.
Peace,
DW
Had the opportunity to join the fine folks in WNYC’s studio for a Soundcheck session recently. Have a listen!
Had the pleasure of chatting with World Cafe and tracking some live versions of Re-Covered tunes for them. Listen here!
