All you need. Stopped halfway through an album title and suddenly had all I needed.

“Disappearing” 7-inch vinyl now available to purchase!
I’m happy to announce that the 7-inch vinyl of “Disappearing” is now available to purchase from my store! These limited edition copies are autographed and have a b-side of my version of Neil Young’s “Out On the Weekend” (this track is only available on the 7-inch release). I also illustrated the front and back cover of the sleeve, for a preview click on the image below. To order a copy for yourself click here: “Disappearing” Limited Edition Vinyl

I’ve returned recently to my long practice of pen-and-ink drawing. I used to emulate and idolize Edward Gorey and R. Crumb, and I still do. Drawing is a little like meditation – you can happily lose yourself in it. What a natural combination of things I do! Why didn’t I think of this before? I hope you dig it: “Disappearing” [Official Lyric Video]
Spelling Remains a Challeng
Spelling remains a challeng. When you’re concentrating one one letter at a time, sometimes it’s hard to see the forest for the trees. The irony is, the misspell was an accident. My subconscious made the joke for me.
Keep ‘Em Comin’
What the world says to an artist who did something good – in my opinion, this is the best reward for doing good work that we get.
Ahh, that’s better
Ahh, that’s better. Legible scanned version of my “Words and Music by Dan Wilson” show at Joe’s Pub in New York last Thursday. I told lots of stories but kept them as short and sweet as I could. Drawing this setlist gave me lots of insights into the stuff I like to talk about. Several stories involved someone’s mother – mine, Adele’s, a little boy on a plane, even the one about “Closing Time” is about pregnancy.
